A new home, again!

HOME SWEET HOME

We were able to get into student housing for this semester and have been busy moving the last few weeks. it's really nice to be out of the trailer and have a playground right outside but it's definitely not like TVA! There are cigarette butts on the ground and I still have not seen one of our neighbors and we've lived here for a week! Every time I go out to play with my kids I'm the only one out there and people I do see when I go for walks are not that friendly. oh-well I'm glad we can save some money and have all our utilities included in rent, that means we can crank up the heat or at least have it on constantly since they have it set to only go up to 75 which we still think is a little cold, pathetic right, I know we're wusses when it comes to cold weather! anyway here are some pictures of our new place.

Our carpet already has stains on it!

This is our living room complete with university couches that are not comfortable! Remind anyone of the old TVA couches?

This is the other hal fof our living room it's a little crowded but it will do and it will be better when we finish unpacking all the boxes!

Here is our Kitchen with only 2 drawers, and they're little too! I stil;l haven't figured out a good place to keep my hot pads and bibs! at least there's no cockroaches!

Yay for all utilities included!! Having less friendly people around is a bummer, although you do attract people to you so it won't be long. :) I'm so excited for you, and wish we could spend a pregnant day at the beach again. Um, and be prepared to become my go-to girl when I have no idea what to do with a boy! Miss you!!

Yay for no cockroaches! Even though we live in this crappy trailer that is one thing I'm SO grateful for. It's funny the impressing those little bugs still have on me. I'll open up a drawer expecting to see one run away but then remember, there's no roaches here. That's fun that there's a playground there too. Hopefully it gets better and you have nice neighbors, when you actually meet them.

Hey Laura,
Love the new place. Those couches are exactly like TVA. Scary, it's like all apartment complexes order from the same place. I laughed about the comment on the cockroaches. I remember coming over after all the bombs went off. There were hundreds if not thousands. Gross! Well, I'm glad that you guys are in married student housing. Is everything going alright with you guys? Are you feeling alright still? When is the due date again? Well, we love and miss you guys! Becca

We are headed to Las Vegas in May for a 1 year residency for Rhett. I'm excited to be closer to family. Maybe we will have to get together with Megan and Wyatt and practice up on our hit the deck. :) That's awesome you are having a little girl. I am so excited for you. June 11th. That's coming up fast. Are you still feeling alright? Well love you guys.

That's great, guys! Are you guys staying in Texas for a while? Will you guys ever come back to Bakersfield? We found a house that we like. We are having it build from ground up. Will take between 4-6 months. In the mean time, we are renting somewhere in Bakers.
